Dinner Groups have long been a tradition at Union Cong and are one of the best ways to get to know other members of the congregation. Generally, groups are comprised of 8-12 adults and meet every 4-6 weeks in group member’s homes. The host provides an entrée while other members bring appetizers, side dishes, and dessert. The host house changes each time based on the group’s decisions. If you can’t host at your home, someone in your group can provide the venue while you do the cooking! The purpose of these dinners is to socialize. Conversation flows briskly as at any social gathering!
The Restaurant Hop is gaining in popularity with each passing year. The team picks a spot to gather each month and asks that you RSVP so the groups don’t get too big. Most places are BYOB, and the group splits the bill evenly.
