Assemble Casseroles for congregants in need after a birth, a death, an accident, or a time of rehabilitation.
Call the church office to offer your help.
Canned Food and other non perishable foods are collected the first Sunday of the month and can be left in the shopping cart in the back of the sanctuary. Additional collections are held during the year and posted in the newsletter and the bulletin.
Childcare Workers are needed to assist our paid childcare professional on Sunday Mornings and during special classes or assemblies. Volunteers must be confirmation age or older.

Church Office Volunteers perform a variety of tasks from stuffing envelops, updating databases, filing, and mailing.

Coffee Hosts are needed each Sunday to prepare for the after worship coffee. This is an important part of fellowship and community at Union and a good place to meet new people.

Confirmation Mentors are an integral part of the 8th grade confirmation process. This nine month program needs adult members to guide students through the steps toward meaningful church membership.

Deliver Flowers Sunday mornings after the service to shut ins, the elderly, or new moms and dads!

Green Team is involved in keeping Union on track to cut down, reduce and reuse. We’re also in ongoing dialog with ……….and investigating solar panels. Join the team.

Holiday Offerings are geared to special missions based on current or ongoing projects, new or emergency needs, or local situations.
Learning Center Teachers serve for a half or whole year usually sharing the responsibility with one or two other teachers in their grade. Semesters run September through January and February through June.

Parish Nurses arrange monthly blood pressure checks, flu shots, and other important health and education services at the church.

Reception Hosts prepare light food and beverages after concerts, funerals, and other special functions.

Side Door is a Friday afternoon drop-in program for Montclair middle schoolers. Volunteers are needed 2:30-5:00 to supervise activities indoors and out.

Tech Team people serve Sunday morning to operate lights, sound, and recording equipment during the 10:00 service.

Ushers serve Sunday morning and at seasonal worship services to greet congregants, welcome visitors and provide direction to worship helps. Teams serve one week a month throughout the year.
