"WINTER IS COMING: A TIME OF REST, REJUVENATION, AND DISCOVERING WHAT LIES JUST BELOW THE SURFACE"
WOMEN’S 2025 RETREAT JANUARY 17, 18, & 19, 2025
Union Congregational Church invites you to our annual Women’s Retreat, led by Rev. Juli Bertalan, where this year we will lean on the season of winter as our guide. You will be invited into times of rest, of personal and communal reflection and discovery, with the hope of bringing rejuvenation into your soul. Believe it or not, winter will be here before we know it. As we put our gardens to bed, the trees continue to bare their branches, and the creatures scurry to find a place to hibernate, our world keeps moving forward at a fast pace somehow missing the natural call to slow down during the winter season. We often are left longing for the chance to slow down and rest along with the animals in their dens. Watching the surrounding nature sleep, winter can seem like a season of dormancy but in reality, there is so much life and growth happening just below the surface under the layers of snow. Winter is a necessary season to prepare for the eye-popping blessings that spring brings.
